I learned something from Jamison Foser yesterday that I did not know: the Republican National Committee has a special blog devoted exclusively to women. The Democratic National Committee has one blog that covers women’s issues, but the RNC has created a stand-alone site on the issue, presumably to help the party deal with its generally poor standing with women voters.
Given that so much of this week’s political debate has dealt with gender issues, I was curious to see what the “RNC Women” blog had to say. As it turns out, not much.
In fact, the “RNC Women” blog hasn’t posted any new content of any kind since October — six months ago. Nothing about how the party’s agenda helps women, or arguments about Democrats being bad for women, just … nothing.
Making matters slightly worse, before the post in October, the RNC hadn’t published any content to “RNC Women” since April 2011.
