* With 54 days remaining before Election Day, a new Monmouth poll shows Joe Biden leading Donald Trump, 51% to 44%, among likely voters. Among registered voters, the former vice president’s lead is slightly larger, 51% to 42%.
* Biden was in Michigan yesterday, touting the details of his new jobs plan. As part of his remarks, the Democratic candidate commented on Trump’s admission that he lied about the coronavirus threat earlier this year. “It’s beyond despicable,” Biden said. “It’s a dereliction of duty. It’s a disgrace.”
* It took a while, but the Trump campaign finally announced its fundraising haul from August: $210 million. That’d be an impressive haul, were it not for the fact that Team Biden raised $365 million over the same period.
* In Wisconsin, the latest Marquette Law School Poll found Biden with a modest lead over Trump in the Badger State, 47% to 43%, among likely voters. A month ago, the same poll found the Democrat ahead by five points.
