First lady Michelle Obama showed off her sense of humor and her dance skills on her appearance on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show Friday night.
In a sketch airing before the first lady’s sit down interview with Fallon, the two–with Fallon in a wig and his best mom outfit–performed “The Evolution of Mom Dancing,” a spoof on the wildly popular “Evolution of Dance” video which went viral and has been viewed more than 200 million times on YouTube.

During the interview later, the first lady talked about her dancing, and her husbands, saying he’s got some “pretty good moves” and that she gives him a B grade.
She also talked about her “Let’s Move” campaign, which began three years ago. She’s about to kick off an anniversary tour next week, where she’ll go to Mississippi to highlight the success they’ve had in fighting childhood obesity. “Just a few years ago when we launched let’s move Mississippi was identified as the least healthy state in the United States, and just in the last year, the obesity rate for children has declined by 13%.”
There are signs of improvement nationwide as well. Obama also pointed to a CDC study that shows children are consuming fewer calories in this decade than they were in the last. “It’s good news, but we still have work to do,” she said.
