NBA veteran Lamar Odom and his reality TV star wife Khloe Kardashian are reportedly calling off their plans to divorce, according to E! Online.
The entertainment website reports that Kardashian’s attorney Laura Wessler asked a judge in court on Wednesday to withdraw their long-pending divorce petition, which was awaiting the judge’s signature. Odom and Kardashian were married in 2011 and co-starred in a popular reality TV series (which aired on E!) from 2011 to 2012. The couple separated in 2013 and signed divorce papers earlier this year.

Odom has been the subject of nationwide headlines after he suffered what is widely believed to have been a drug overdose at the infamous Bunny Ranch brothel in Nevada. The former athlete has been subject of years of rumors regarding drug abuse, and his alleged addiction is said to be one of the primary causes of his initial split with Kardashian.
Since the news of Odom’s near-death experience broke, Kardashian and her extended family have been a regular presence at his bedside. He has since been released from a hospital in Las Vegas after regaining consciousness. He suffered at least one stroke and may have sustained some brain damage during his ordeal. According to E!, he is being treated currently for aspiration pneumonia. “This past week has been incredibly difficult,” Kardashian posted on her website in her first public statement since the former NBA star was hospitalized on Tuesday. “You can never be prepared for an experience like this, but without the outpouring of love and endless prayers that Lamar has received and the strength I was given from loved ones, it would have been difficult to endure.”
