MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow visited “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Thursday and chatted with the host about what her day-to-day is like since Donald Trump joined the Republican presidential field.
“My job every day is like I paint houses with a nail polish brush” in an attempt to give people the larger picture on crucial issues, she explained. But now, with Trump leading the GOP pack, Maddow joked that it’s more like “God giving me a power brush.”
“It’s a blessing for us. I don’t know that it is for the country,” she added with a laugh.

Fallon pressed the MSNBC host on whether she thinks Trump actually wants to be president, or if the bombastic mogul is just running to continue gaining notoriety.
“I can’t imagine that he actually wants to be president,” Maddow replied. “Look at what happens to people once they actually become president. Barack Obama is 40 years older than when he first became president.”
Hmm…. better leave the cocktail shaking to @Maddow for now…

The job of president doesn’t seem to be very much fun, she continued. “Maybe [Trump will] be elected and then outsource it to someone. China will do it for $3,” Maddow joked.
