The Bush campaign announced its first TV ad buy of the campaign cycle Friday with plans to go on air in the all important first-in-the-nation primary state of New Hampshire.
According to the campaign, the initial buy of $500,000 will target cable television throughout the Granite State as well as the Boston-based broadcast stations. It also includes some dedicated online advertising. The buy runs from September 9 through September 29.
The ad will highlight Bush’s resume, with emphasis on his conservative credentials — an appeal the governor regularly makes on the campaign trail.
Friday’s announcement follows the governor’s campaign swing through New Hampshire on Thursday with stops in Hampton and Laconia, where he intensified his critiques of rival Donald Trump by saying of the businessman, “this guy is not a conservative.”
