Donald Trump’s head just got bigger.
An Ohio resident spent 10 hours making a pumpkin look like Republican presidential candidate — and it’s 374 pounds.
Sitting outside the home of Jeanette Paras in Dublin, Ohio is a “Trumpkin,” a hand-painted caricature of Trump. Paras spent over 10 hours on the details, including perfecting the giant blonde wig that resembles the real estate mogul’s hair. There’s even a parody campaign sign that reads: “Make Pumpkins Great Again.”
This year’s pumpkin is part of Paras’ annual tradition to “pumpkin-ize” celebrities, which she started in 1988. Past pumpkins have included depictions of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, Miley Cyrus, Prince Harry and Jon Stewart. She chooses the pumpkins each year to fit the shapes of the celebrities’ faces.
“The subjects are really self-selected – by being in the news all the time and by being the perpetual topic of conversation,” Paras told NBC4 in Columbus. “The ‘Trumpkin’ was the overwhelming choice this year. That guy is in the news every day, it seems.”
Trump is not the first politician to be the star of Halloween traditions. For the 2008 election, AP even released political pumpkin carving patterns, which included the faces of the presidential and vice president candidates, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, John McCain and Sarah Palin.
