Tonight, Washington state representative, Maureen Walsh, and her daughter, Shauna, joined The Last Word. Walsh, a Republican who represents the state’s 16th district, voted yes to legalizing same-sex marriage. And tonight she explained her daughter’s pivotal role in her decision.
On Monday, Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire signed that bill into law, making Washington the seventh state to legalize same-sex marriage.
