Senator Kelly Ayotte, a Republican from New Hampshire and one of the most outspoken critics of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice’s statements following the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi last September, told Andrea Mitchell Reports Thursday that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s combined five hours of testimony Wednesday in the Senate and House still left some of her questions unanswered.
“I still think that there are some outstanding questions…I did have some questions following it,” she said.
Ayotte called into question Clinton’s description of herself as “clear-eyed” about the dangers and threats in Benghazi.
