This week, I told you about a few of the groups doing the real work — the good work — on the ground in the New York area… helping victims of Hurricane Sandy get back on their feet.
And again, get your pens out and write down this information for yourself.
Starting with the Doctor Theodore Atlas foundation …
It’s run by a good man, Teddy Atlas, whose father was a doctor on Staten Island for half a century.
Teddy’s group is gathering supplies and raising money for people facing real dire straits.
You can help this good man do good work by going to his website, DrAtlasFoundation.com.
And in the Belle Harbor section of Queens, where so many of the city’s first responders call home, the church of Saint Francis de Sales has set up a relief center.
