Today President Obama will visit the Jersey Shore and check in on the recovery efforts. New Jersey Governor Chris Christie will accompany him. That’s sure to raise eyebrows, considering when the storm hit, some Republicans say Christie’s praise of the President cost Mitt Romney the election. We’ll talk to Asbury Park New Jersey’s Mayor about it.
Senator John McCain made a last minute trip to Syria over the holiday weekend. We’ll discuss with National Journal’s Chris Frates and The Washington Post’s Jackie Kucinich.

We’ll also talk about a pre-trial hearing for George Zimmerman. We could find out Tuesday if jury selection in the case will begin June 10th or be delayed. Zimmerman faces second degree murder charges in the shooting death of teenager Trayvon Martin. And the story everyone is talking about today is the Rutgers Athletic Director, who was hired to repair the college’s image– She’s now embroiled in her own scandal after allegations have surfaced that she used abusive language toward her players when she was a coach at Tennessee.
